Restoration Services

This is strictly a part-time endeavour for me, so my capacity for new work is very variable. Please contact me if you require restoration work and I will give you some idea of timescales, or recommend an alternative restorer, if I can.

Organette Repair and Restoration
From minor repairs to full restorations on most Organettes.
Examples - Rare German Sonatina 18 note,

Player Piano Repair and Restoration
Minor repair service anytime. Full restoration on some models, depending on current workload.

Straight Piano repairs
Minor repair service available.

Modern Musical Boxes
Mechanical overhaul, repair and adjustment, depending on type.

Antique Musical Boxes
Mechanical overhaul, repair and adjustment of cylinder and disc boxes, but not comb repairs or re-pinning (but I can arrange such work if required).

Street Organs
Minor repairs and tuning for most mechanical and solenoid operated organs, including barrel organs.

Other Instruments
I am knowledgeable on most Mechanical Music Instruments, and am a collector myself. I can also provide minor repairs on some conventional musical instruments. Contact me as above if you have any queries about restoration or repairs
