Restoration Services

I have reduced the amount of restoration work I do and now prefer to stick to small instruments. If you are looking for any form of pianola restoration, and don't want to do your own, check out my Links page for restorers, especially Mike Boyd who also now supplies pianola suplies.

Send details to enquiries(at)musicanic.com or phone, and I will let you know if I can help.

Straight Piano repairs
No longer provided. Most pianola restorers will do straight piano work, or check Yellow Pages for a local Piano technician..

Modern Musical Boxes
These are rarely economical to restore. They usually have basic movements inside and it might be possible to replace a faulty movement with a modern one from Hobbies who stock a range of Sankyo movements. Alternatively try contacting Reuge in Sainte Croix, Switzerland, who still make novelty musical items and may be able to supply a sutable replacement..
